Merry Christmas and welcome to our seasonal newsletter!
Most of you will know that we lost the 206 after an engine failure earlier this year. Fortunately nobody was hurt except our beloved jump-ship, but this means we are back to using the 3-seater 172. On the bright side, this is a good excuse for us to get a new plane and we are looking into getting a new turbine aircraft, most likely a Caravan, sometime in the new year.
In the meantime we are making the best use we can of the 172:
Wingsuit camp - 28/29 January
Darren is back from the US and this time has a load of demo suits from Phoenix Fly. We are organising a weekend camp for anyone who has 200 jumps that wants to FLY! If you don’t 200 jumps then don’t be put off: Darren has some awesome tracking suits you can try and he can still teach you some new skills like flocking, back-tracking, etc. Please confirm ASAP if you want to attend this weekend course so that we can get the right sized suits for you.
Canopy skills camp - 4/5 February (tentative dates)
This is a camp to teach basic / intermediate canopy skills, with 5 hop n pops and lots of ground training. Please note we are not teaching swooping – this is aimed at A or B licence jumpers who would like to perfect their canopy flight, patterns and landing. All landings will be filmed, all flights will be de-briefed and there will be prizes for accuracy. Please get in touch if you are interested and please note that these dates may change if they are not suitable – let us know what works for you!
Wedding in the Air - Valentine’s Day 14 February
Following the success of last year’s event we will be doing the same again this year and are looking for some extreme couples that want to tie the knot and then jump out of a perfectly good airplane to celebrate. 79,000 baht per couple includes jumps, custom-made wedding jumpsuits, accommodation, food, drink and a stunning Thai-style wedding party.
We sent Graeme to the US for some training and we are now proud to boast our our very own FAA Senior Rigger. Reserve repacks are 2,500 baht which also includes a full inspection and repack of your main canopy. Plus he can do repairs, maintenance, new lineset, etc, all in our clean, professional loft.
We are expanding our gear store to include loads of new and used gear. We can supply anything from goggles and altimeters to AADs and new rigs. With our used gear network you can now trade-in your old equipment for new gear. We will even buy your old gear for cash, no trade-in necessary. Contact us for more details.
We are open all day, every day so come and join us for some festive jumps over Christmas and the New Year. No empty promises, just jumps, jumps, jumps!!
